About the electric drive system of electric vehicles
As a technology different from the core technology of traditional fuel vehicles, the three-electric (battery, motor, electronic control) technology of new energy vehicles has been newly developed. These three pieces are also the core technical systems of electric vehicles, which directly affects the performance of products and is also the key factors that users consider when buying cars.
Objectively speaking, the three-electric system refers to the power battery, the electric drive system and the electronic control system, but it is simply called the battery, motor and electronic control in our daily life.
As shown in the figure above, a system contains several components, not a single unit that everyone understands.
For example:
The electric drive system consists of a transmission mechanism, a motor and an inverter, which is equivalent to the engine of a gasoline car.
1) The transmission mechanism consists of a gear system, a shift system and a housing.
At present, the transmission mechanism of electric vehicles in China is basically a single-machine deceleration.
2) The motor consists of three parts: stator, rotor and shell.
The key points of motor technology are stator and rotor. The rotor is the main drive motor of new energy vehicles, which undertakes all functions related to the movement of new energy vehicles. The rotor consists of four parts: armature core, armature winding, commutator, and hinge.
At present, there are three main types of automobile motor drives: DC motor drive, permanent magnet synchronous motor drive, and AC induction motor drive.
3) The inverter is a device that converts DC into alternating current to provide the required alternating current for the driving motor.
It is mainly composed of IGBT, control drive plate and capacitor.
